About this event

You’ve been identified as an expert by the River Central Multi-Municipal Planning Steering Committee. This multi-municipal effort brings together five municipalities with a history of partnerships – and joined by the D&L Trail – to create a vision for the future of the community into the next decade and beyond. Now is the time to build a foundation that will further a bright, prosperous and balanced River Central area! Your expertise about public service, business, the region’s natural resources, education, the communities or more makes your participation in the workshops – known as charettes – vital to the success of the plan.

This first ever long-term planning effort brings together Catasauqua Borough, East Allen Township (Lehigh County), Hanover Township, North Catasauqua Borough, Northampton Borough and the Lehigh Valley Planning Commission to plan for the area’s growth and development, economy, transportation network, environment and much more.

The virtual charettes will be interactive and include moderated discussion, centered around your participation and feedback. We encourage your attendance!

Please contact Lehigh Valley Planning Commission at bvazquez@lvpc.org or (610) 264-4544 if you have any questions. Visit www.planrivercentral.org for more information.
